Welcome to my website dedicated to black garlic!
I started artisanally making black garlic from my own garlic in 2020.
I quickly realized that I couldn’t obtain the quality of garlic produced by the super organic garlic pros in Quebec (La ferme Formido, for example).
From now on, I’m focusing on production and distribution. The garlic is local and certified organic (but not my black garlic).
The garlic processing is an elaborate stewing process. This processing method gives black garlic its charcoal color and gives it a milder, more subtle flavor than white garlic. It’s often referred to as a “jujube,” its soft, sticky texture is similar to that of a dried fruit. It’s often referred to as an umami flavor.
In addition to its delicious taste, black garlic is also highly nutritious and rich in antioxidants and health-promoting substances. Many people consume a small portion daily.
If you’re looking to add a unique flavor to your daily routine, black garlic is an excellent choice.
